The results of the next monitoring on bird flu in Azerbaijan was publicized
The pathological materials taken from 23 fowls and 10 poultries, blood samples taken from 1837 poultries and 54 pathological materials were examined due to 10th monitoring carried out from October 22 till 26.
State Veterinary Service under Agriculture Ministry press service told the APA, no bird flu virus was found in the samples taken from fowls and poultries during the monitoring.
Monitoring was carried out in Absheron peninsula, Pirallahi isle, national reserves and parks in Devechi, Salyan, Agchabadi and Lenkeran, seaside zones. No mass death of birds has been observed in monitored places. The monitoring was conducted with participation of experts of SVS, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, Health Ministry, as well as Hunters Society.
The next 11th monitoring will be held on November 19.
SVS mentions that the people should keep poultries in close places due to migrant birds, and ban hunting, sale and use of migrant and wild fowls. /APA/
